Levenson is a board member of the Society for Conservation Biology Marine Section and Oceans Forward, a foundation dedicated to bringing about transformative change for ocean conservation. Levenson is the cofounder of Flukebook, a global initiative that connects the whale-watching public with cetacean researchers dedicated to expanding knowledge of whale migrations.
