Jared Lloyd is a natural history writer and wildlife photographer. From the coastal rainforests of Alaska to the high Andes of Ecuador, his work takes him all over the world in search of stories and photographs. A native of the islands off the coast of North Carolina, he makes his home on a stretch of beach where paved roads are a distant memory, and sand, salt, wind, and tides shape daily life.
