Libby Sander is a writer and editor living in Washington, DC. She has spent nearly two decades bringing to life the stories of people (and animals) of all stripes. Her work has appeared in the Washington Post, the New York Times, the Chronicle of Higher Education, and many other publications. She was the lead writer for National Geographic’s 2019 book Photo Ark: Vanishing, about the world’s most endangered animals.
