Born in Port Alberni, British Columbia, Margaret Horsfield lived for many years in England, working for BBC Radio and freelancing for a variety of publications. The West Coast of Canada eventually called her home, and she now lives and writes in Nanaimo, British Columbia. Three of Horsfield’s six books explore the history of the West Coast of Vancouver Island. She is now writing a book about the Minnesota Seaside Station, delighted to be learning more every day about the amazing Josephine Tilden and her passion for marine algae.
